The Page By Page Designs team is committed to working with you to achieve the desired image for your business. Many design companies out there can make a web site; few can do it with the creativity and the dedication to detail that we achieve. I am Gail Raes, the Web Designer and Design Project Co-Ordinator of PAGE BY PAGE DESIGNS. As Design Co-Ordinator I help the clients envision their creative direction and lead a team of designers to create and implement the client's vision. This leadership position oversees the creative strategy, the creative design of the project, content architecture and graphic and user interface design.

I began using computers in the 1970's before there were word processors or a World Wide Web. It was from this early introduction to computers, that I became interested in the field of Web design. I have been designing on the Web for over nine years. I designed Web pages for advertising, promotions and affiliate programs prior to becoming an independent designer. PAGE BY PAGE DESIGNS was launched in 1998 as a Web Design and Development Company that specializes in small to mid-sized business Web sites.

Along with my practical Web designing experience, I have completed advanced college level classes in HTML, Web Publishing and Graphic Design. I design Web sites by hand coding the HTML (hypertext markup language). Every PAGE BY PAGE DESIGNS web site is as custom and unqiue as each of my client's businesses. Since the technology of Web design is rapidly evolving, I am continuing to further my education in this field on a regular basis.

By implementing the latest technologies in Web design, I utilize my design and programming skills to create engaging and dynamic sites for my clients.

As a previous partner in a successful small business, I understand what it takes to attract potential customers to your business. I am aware that most customers are searching for easy to find answers to their questions or gathering current information about a product or a service. It is with this in mind that I design Web sites to give the customer these answers. A Web site should be designed to keep the visitor's interest and to be visually attractive with a color scheme, graphics, images and theme. A maintenance routine is necessary to keep your Web site fresh, interesting, and ready to attract new visitors, while retaining returning ones.

Many of the Web sites we have designed were for clients and businesses located outside of the Seattle, WA area. We were able to work with those clients entirely via e-mail, fax and telephone communications. Digital art has totally changed the way we see, feel, and interpret art on the Internet.
