The Reunion will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Radisson Hotel, Ontario Airport location. There will also be a picnic on the next day, Sunday, as well as separate events for individual classes.

As your Reunion Committee, we wanted to share with you a few things that went into the planning. We DID hear you when you said “Keep the cost down,” and so we would like you to know what you are getting in VALUE for the cost of your “ticket.”

There are costs that are not flexible—food per person, tax, service charge, and a few miscellaneous charges by the Hotel. But even with these, we got a deal!

Your Dinner—The Radisson will be CUSTOMIZING a menu for us that will include three entrees—Beef, Chicken, and Vegetarian. Their normal 3 entrée price is almost NINE DOLLARS more than they are charging us!

Your Entertainment—We will be having TWO forms of entertainment for less than the normal price of one—a DJ, so that you will be able to hear the “old” favorites—songs of your choosing—and a LIVE BAND made up our own talented and professional GAREY musicians!

Your Memory Book—Because we are including a Memory Book to each classmate, the photographer is giving us a SUBSTANTIAL discount!

The Radisson has BEAUTIFUL, large rooms! They have discounted these rooms to $69 per night which is $30 LESS than the Doubletree! AND they have extended this discount to two nights BEFORE and two nights AFTER our event in case you would like to come in early or stay over. They have a pool, a weight room, and will provide FREE SHUTTLE service to and from the Airport!

In addition, we are making arrangements to have a CD you can purchase for an EXTREMELY low price that will have ALL the FREMONT BULLDOG yearbooks as well as the GAREY VIKING SAGAS on it!

AND, since we can only “guesstimate” the actual number coming, any after-cost surplus we take in will be GIVEN BACK to the CLASSMATES attending by way of a drawing for CASH and Garey Memorabilia DOOR PRIZES!

But we will need your help—no large classmate mailing will be going out, so we need ALL OF US to be the “extended committee” and find and contact each other, whether it be on the internet, Facebook, or the phone. If you know someone from Garey, CONTACT THEM! If you know a younger or older sibling, CONTACT THEM! Remember, the more Vikings we have, the better!
